PHYSICAL AND HEALTH

We are all concerned about our physical appearance. We want to control our weight. We want to look good. Are we taking good care of our body? How about our teeth, eyes, hair and nails. Do you smell fresh, how about your breath!

How is your blood pressure? Ensure you check it at least once in a month. Do you have Persistent & Recurring Afflictions?  Are you Physically Challenged.

YOU NEED:

·         Physical Exercises- get involved in a fitness program.

·         Check your Eating Habits

·         Go for regular Medical Checks.

·         Stop that self-Medication

MENTAL

We are never through learning. We must read to keep being current. Whatever your profession, there are journal and magazines and books you need to read so as to improve your knowledge.

 Attend refresher courses; they keep you current. You may study part time for higher degrees. Ensure that you join a Professional body.

Be sure you are computer literate. Then surf the web.

SPIRITUAL

We all hunger for deeper spiritual truth. We all want to be used of God. We all want to know him more. Then read your Bible.( Joshua 1:8). The Bible contains the principles for spiritual growth. Study to show youreelf approved, then your prayer life will improve. The word of God will remain richly in you. If you are loaded with the word of God, your spiritual life will surely improve significantly. The improvement will show in everything you do in the physical.

RUN FROM:

·         Fornication,

·         Adultery,

·         Masturbation,

·         Pornography etc.

·         Bad Habits

·         Addictions

·         Anger,

·         Drunkenness

·         Smoking,

All problems originate in the spiritual. Live a victorious Christian life. Do not toy with Witchcraft and occultism. Watch those traditions-some are aspects of rebellion against God. If the tradition does not agree with the scriptures, do not dabble into it because there is an inherent course in worshiping other Gods. Note that tribalism, personality worship and all gods of our fathers are idolatry. Be sure you believe right.(the new covenant)

THE FAMILY:

These are people most dear to us. There are three major segments of the family:

1.       Supportive-parents ,  grandparents & relatives

2.       The present-Wife/husband

3.       The future-Children and grand children

Be sure you bring each group to know the Lord. Provide welfare where they need.

TO THE MARRIED: Colosians 3:18-19 refers.

What changes can you make of yourself to be the kind of man your wife wants to be married to.

If you want to change her; please change yourself first. LOVE YOUR WIFE and submission come automatically.

TO THE SINGLE: Proverbs 18:22

Looking for a wife? What kind of a woman do you want to be married to. How can you be the type of a man that the type of woman you are looking for will want? Watch how you pray for a help meet. 

SOURCES of FAMILY TROUBLE

·         Lack of love/ submission

·         Unfaithfulness

·         Ungratefulness

·         Selfishness

·         Poor communication

·         Wife beating

·         Money matters matter

·         Not leaving and cleaving

·         Your Children and not God’s Children

·         Stubborn and uncontrollable children

·         Extended family members

·         Childlessness

FINANCES

Money Matters matter therefore study about money. Value money, save money and invest money. It is a major cause of divorce. It is a major cause of family and business failures. Develop a new attitude to money. Money is very good; it is the love of money that is evil.(1 Timothy 6:10)

Always raise and operate a family budget. Failure to plan is the same as planning to fail.

Develop multiple streams of income because it is the perfect will of God that you prosper.(3 John 2).

SOCIAL:  Proverbs 27:17 and Psalm 133:1

·         No man is an Island

·         Man is a social being

·         We all need love, counsel and competition.

·         Get involved in a social group like the Full Gospel Business men’s Fellowship International

·         Fellowships like FGBMFI extends your sphere of influence beyond yourself and family to those in your church, neighborhood and business.

·         There is no better place to find your full potential in Christ Jesus than the Fellowship. Our target as a man is stated in Ephesians 4:13 ‘…till we come… unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.’

CAREER: Proverb 4:7

Before now, people stayed with one job all their life, retire and live another three years and died. Today job is scarce and life expectancy is longer. Retrenchment and redundancies are common. As such, you need to be the best in your field to get and keep a job.

Take on the attitude of working as unto the Lord. You must see yourself in a higher position

Be ready to learn more about your type of work and do it better than anyone else.

Remember with God all things are possible. Like a promotion when promotions are frozen.

Be the best in your businesses. Avoid false balances .Pay your workers’. Be a Christian businessman. Only be in politics as a call from the Lord. If you are not very clear with the call please do not venture into politics.

Make a difference wherever you are. Remember, your market place is your pulpit.

GROWTH INHIBITORS INCLUDE:
